Mommy Adventures in Fun Snacks

When I got out my Easter Decorations, I found this little gem in my spring decorations box.

I love the look and feel of a vintage book and I have so many fond memories of cooking from this book with my mom and sister. The copyright is 1952.  I am so glad my mom kept this and passed it on.  Traditions can be something so simple.
Aiden was scheduled for a play date with his two little lady friends yesterday so I busted out some fun PB&J Cut-outs from the book.

  1. We do this all the time for lunch sandwiches. My kindergartener is crushed if her sandwich is not in the shape of something other than bread :) When I was teaching one of the kids brought me bannana bread in the shape of a pumpkin for a Halloween treat. Cookie cutters are great fun!

  2. What a wonderful old book! I love vintage books, too. The little gestures, like PBJ sandwiches in fun shapes, will be things the children will remember forever. ;)

Thanks for linking to Time Travel Thursday. Hope you'll join the fun this week.
