Taco Pie

I don’t know about you but when my husband offers to make dinner, I do not hesitate to do a happy dance of joy!  I have some pretty sweet moves so it is a win-win for everyone.  No seriously, Taco Pie is one of his signature dishes and it is always a hit at our house!  What are you having for dinner?

Shopping List

1 can of crescent rolls

1 lb. lean ground beef

1 can of Re-fried Beans

1 8 oz. package of finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 package taco seasoning (dry)

1 8 oz. container of sour cream (optional)

1 cup of salsa (optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Lay crescent rolls flat on the bottom of your pie plate and bake according to package directions.

While your pie crust is baking, brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium high heat.

Add the taco seasoning and stir together well.

When your crust is done, remove from oven and layer with re-fried beans & cooked meat.

Sprinkle with lots of cheese...

Return to oven and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, or until cheese has melted.
